How to Wear a Sweater Blazer + Why You Need One

May 29, 2020

So what the heck is a sweater blazer? It's a knit but structured like a blazer. So why not opt for a blazer instead? Because a sweater blazer is a great transitional piece from winter to spring and then again at the end of summer to early fall. You can dress it up or dress it down and it's less stuffy than a transitional blazer and a great stand in for a cardigan.

March 20, 2020

Today's post is inspired by those of you who wear extended sizes (14 and up). I know it can be incredibly frustrating to not be able to find clothes that fit and flatter your body. It's even worse when the offerings are limited or just not available. What I’m Wearing – Blazer: Madewell | Blouse: J.Crew | Denim: J.Crew Factory | Necklace: Lace & Pearls Jewelry | Bracelet: Lace & Pearls Jewelry | Ring: J.Crew (old) | Bag: Cuyana Saddle Bag (gifted) | Shoes: M.M. LaFleur (gifted) | Lipstick: BeautyCounter Color Intense Lipstick in color 9 to 5

Today’s post is inspired by those of you who wear extended sizes (14 and up). I know it can be incredibly frustrating to not be able to find clothes that fit and flatter your body. I used to think that brands intentionally excluded certain sizes because they didn’t feel that a curvier woman represented their brand, but after some research I’ve found that’s not entirely the case.

Cuyana Is My Go-to For Leather Handbags

March 3, 2020

Cuyana is THE place to shop for a high-quality handbag! Not familiar with Cuyana? Cuyana is a female-founded brand that celebrates "fewer, better things." This is why I'm drawn to the company. I'm constantly striving for quality over quantity when it comes to my closet and sustainability. All of their items are ethically sourced, timeless, and something you will have for years. What I’m Wearing – Blazer: Madewell | Blouse: J.Crew | Denim: J.Crew Factory | Necklace: Lace & Pearls Jewelry | Bracelet: Lace & Pearls Jewelry | Ring: J.Crew (old) | Bag: Cuyana Saddle Bag (gifted) | Shoes: M.M. Disclaimer: This post is not sponsored, but the handbags featured were gifted by Cuyana a few years ago. All opinions are my own.

Cuyana is THE place to shop for a high-quality handbag! I first got a glimpse of the brand when I spotted my friend Jenn from Hello Rigby carrying the Small Carryall Tote.

Founded on the philosophy of fewer, better, Cuyana encourages customers to purchase fewer but better quality pieces that they will love and treasure for years to come. source
