Sweater: Ann Taylor (similar) | Skirt: J.Crew (On sale) | Booties: Dansko (similar) | Necklace: Madewell (old) | Bracelet: Stella & Dot (old) | Bag: Micheal Michael Kors (similar) | Lipstick: Bobbi Brown (Warm Beige) | Lip Gloss: Smashbox Limitless Long Wear (Endless)
The last three outfit posts (including this one) have been monochromatic. This was not intentional – I like color. I don’t even own a black sweater, unless you count this one with horizontal gold stripes.
On a recent shopping trip I picked up this tweed flippy skirt to add to my growing collection. This silhouette is different for me and I love it. I feel like it’s pretty versatile, and can be dressed up or down depending on the shoes/ top. Next time I’ll pair it with a chambray shirt.
On Sunday, I met my best friend for brunch at The Dish Cafe. It was our first time checking it out and the food was really good. We did a little shopping afterwards and went to see Fifty Shades of Grey. We both enjoyed the movie (and were a bit giggly).
Pretty grey outfit! The shape of the skirt is very cute and flattering!

Thanks Prudence. I appreciate.
I love the skirt! The shape looks fantastic on you. My girlfriends and I have hesitated to go see 50 Shades of Grey, but maybe we’ll give it a chance. Sounds like you had fun! 🙂
Thanks Tania.
The movie is super racy but still fun. I am embarrassed to say I watched it. Lol! 😀
I love that skirt and I love how you styled it!
Thank you.
I love the skirt, you look so pretty in it and I also like it with the booties. As you know I saw fifty shades of grey and enjoyed it too.I would love to check out the Dish sometime too.I am always up for a good restaurant.
Aww, thanks mom! I’ve really embraced these booties this season. I’ve come a long way.
Yes, we will have to venture to the Dish sometime soon.

The Dish! Is that the place that was next to The Butcher and the Baker?
Yep, that’s how I chose it.

Love that! It sure is. 😀
I’m hopeful this outfit was put together in an attempt to theme dress for the movie – it’s a much more publicly accepted option than others!
Jokes aside, you look adorable. I love that skirt on you!

Ironically, these photos were taken the day before. I wore jeans and a sweater to the movie.
