When I picture a tulle skirt, I cannot help but think theatrical or Carrie Bradshaw. Finding the balance between the two can be hit or miss. So what better way to honor Carrie then to pair this look with a classic chambray shirt. While the skirt takes center stage, the rest of the look remains simple yet fun.
The challenge of owning a tulle skirt is the styling aspect. You now have this great piece and no idea how to wear it. Pinterest has been helpful, allowing me to curate a board of creative ways to don a tutu.
Want a tulle skirt of your own? Then check out Space 46. This site was recommended to me by Nazneen from Nazneen Zainal. She is a girlie girl and wears a tulle skirt like a champ!
Kudos to my mom for taking these pics. Thanks so much!
I am in love with this outfit! You have made me want a tulle skirt of my own. 😀 Stunning styling, Asa! This outfit really suits you. 🙂
Aww, thanks Nadine. You’re too kind. ☺️ A tulle skirt would look great on you!
Well look at you my darling! You look absolutely gorgeous in that tulle skirt! And not to mention your dazzling smile! 😉 Love it! I’ve been looking for a tulle skirt for a very longggggg time now, but up until now I haven’t found one which meets my requirements *sigh* I guess I have to make my own now hehe! Happy Thursday my dear! xo Vivian

Thanks Vivian. You’re the sweetest. I appreciate you always stopping by and commenting.
I bet you would make an awesome tulle skirt. I’m still swooning over the pink skirt you made!
I love the color of this skirt! I’ve always wanted to purchase one but felt my hips were too big and they’d just look awkward on my body type.
That skirt is SUPER cute!

Thank you!
I love the skirt! Definitely screams Carrie Bradshaw 🙂
Thanks Erin 🙂

You wear this so well! This is such a good spring look.
Thanks Sarah
You are rocking that skirt and what a nice way to dress down the look with a chambray shirt.I must admit I did ok with taking the photos and much coaching from you.I have a dressy skirt in the same fabric and now l have another way to wear it.
Thanks Mom. That skirt would look great with a chambray.
You look great, Asa! And that skirt is a lot cuter than Carrie’s, if I do say so myself 🙂
Thanks Mil 🙂
Ah this is too cute! Tulle skirts are a favorite of mine but, I agree, they’re hard to style. I have a friend who’s currently making me one and I’m so excited for it but I need to figure out how I’m going to style it. This is a great idea, with the chambray and boots. Nice and casual but still super girly and cute. Just perfect!

Thanks Dannie. I hope to see your tulle skirt on the blog soon. What color are you getting?
I think she ordered white. It’s been a while so I honestly don’t even know when i’m going to be getting it. = this is the downside to having friends make things sometimes.
Lol! Hope you get it sooner then later. 🙂
Happy Fri-YAY, love! You look lovely, as always! I’m completely smitten with this look!
Wishing you a fab weekend, and thank you for being such an inspiration!

You look adorable Asa! I love the blend of denim and pastel hues, it’s a great way to work two styles that are vastly different but look very put together in an outfit! Happy friday love! xo~ Lena

You have such a gorgeous smile! I love this outfit so much, I love the idea of mixing a denim top with such a girlie skirt 😀
