My #1 Hack for People That Are Always Cold

November 12, 2018

Unfortunately, I'm always cold and am constantly on the lookout for ways to stay warm. That's where Cuddl Duds comes in, they're my go-to for staying cozy! This post is sponsored by Cuddl Duds but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Unfortunately for me, I’m always cold and am constantly on the lookout for ways to stay warm. If there is a stylish component, even better! That’s where Cuddl Duds comes in, they’re my go-to for living in layers and for staying warm during the colder months. Last year I wrote this post on How to Stay Warm and Stylish in the Winter. This time around I’m focusing on comfortable loungewear and other hacks that give me the warm and fuzzies.

This time of year I tend to go in hibernation mode so I like to wear my most comfortable PJs or loungewear. I have always enjoyed a thermal set so when I saw this fair isle option from Cuddl Duds I was in hog heaven! The fabric is brushed on both sides for extra warmth and the pattern makes me nostalgic for winter. Now I can be comfortable and cute without sacrificing my style.

To ensure that I stay nice and toasty, I always have a top layer on hand. Growing up I would always wear a robe but seemed to grow out of it once I was older. Now my go-to is some type of pullover or zip-up. The Cowl Tunic from Cuddl Duds is perfect for lounging around the house and running errands. The length provides the necessary fabric to cover your lower half while remaining carefree and comfortable. For size reference, I’m wearing a Large (dress size:14-16/bust: 40-42). I should have grabbed an extra large because the bust is a bit small. So definitely reference the size chart if purchasing online.

If you want to spice things up a hot toddy is also nice. Then I will either read a book or watch a movie. I love wearing my Cuddl Duds loungewear during this time and it’s the best form of relaxation and self-care.

My best hack for staying warm is taking baths. I absolutely love taking baths but it’s also therapeutic and the quickest way to feel warm. To elevate your bathtime, burn a candle, add some Epsom salt or a bath bomb, and pour yourself a glass of wine. Once you’re done, throw on your favorite Cuddl Duds items.

Keep in mind that Cuddl Duds clothing is super versatile especially for those who like to live in layers during the colder months. Take the tunic for example, you can wear it while running errands and pair with your favorite jeans or leggings. Throw on a pair of boots and you’re ready to go!

Quick recap for staying warm

  • Have something warm to drink throughout the day: coffee, tea, etc.
  • Layer with your favorite Cuddl Duds pieces
  • Take a bath

If you’re in the market for some amazing loungewear, Cuddl Duds is offering 25% off Cuddl Duds warmwear for her, in-store and online at Macy’s. Offer runs 11/7-11/20. Enjoy!
