There are numerous festivities, Christmas shopping to complete, events to host, and travel to see family and friends, of course. And then there’s balancing a full-time job (or 3 more if you’re me, including being a project manager in healthcare (my day job), creating content for my fashion blog, designing jewelry, and working as a BeautyCounter Consultant). Whew! That’s a lot. With that said, I was beginning to feel a bit burnt out. To stay ahead of the curve, there are a handful of things I like to do to beat holiday stress. 2019 Fall Trends

November 26, 2019

Fall is by far my favorite season! I feel like it's the only time my true style shines through. My second favorite season is spring because I can wear my warm-weather clothes with fewer layers. Since fall is top of mind (and timely), I thought it would be beneficial to share my top 2019 fall trends. If you're lucky, you might already own some of these items, as they're less trendy and more classic which I love! What I’m Wearing– Sweater: J.Crew | Jeans: J.Crew Factory  | Boots: Gentle Souls by Kenneth Cole | Bag: Cuyana c/o | Lipstick: BeautyCounter Color Intense lipstick in 9 to 5

How to Style the Stefanie Mini — Lace & Pearls Jewelry

November 5, 2019

The piece coming in at number one is the Stefanie Mini! Since launching this style a year ago, I've sold 67 units. Her story is unique — she started out as the 'Stefanie,' a double-layered necklace (instead of a single layer), adorned with semi-precious (celestite) gemstones. What makes her unique is the matte gold chevron layer.Model: Megan of Diary of this Girl 📷: Sarah Wolfe

I’ve often wondered how to incorporate my handmade jewelry line — Lace & Pearls Jewelry (LPJ) — into my blog outside the typical outfit posts. It occurred to me that it would be fun to share the story behind each piece of jewelry. And this post is timely, as LPJ is celebrating its two-year anniversary on November 7th. Woot! This feels like a great time to begin a new series on my blog.
