My #1 Hack for People That Are Always Cold

November 12, 2018

Unfortunately, I'm always cold and am constantly on the lookout for ways to stay warm. That's where Cuddl Duds comes in, they're my go-to for staying cozy! This post is sponsored by Cuddl Duds but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Unfortunately for me, I’m always cold and am constantly on the lookout for ways to stay warm. If there is a stylish component, even better! That’s where Cuddl Duds comes in, they’re my go-to for living in layers and for staying warm during the colder months. Last year I wrote this post on How to Stay Warm and Stylish in the Winter. This time around I’m focusing on comfortable loungewear and other hacks that give me the warm and fuzzies.

How Bloggers Make Money

October 16, 2018

In the past few weeks, I have been asked by several people about how bloggers make money. One person was completely shocked to find out that influencers can make a living from blogging! In the past few weeks, I have been asked by several people about how bloggers make money. One person was completely shocked to find out that influencers can make a living from blogging! I think it’s important to be aware of the business side of blogging, especially since it has become a part-time or full-time gig for many, so I thought it would be helpful to put together a post informing bloggers and non-bloggers alike on how blogging can be a source of income.

Pause & Reflect: My Health and Fitness Story

September 4, 2018

At the beginning of this year, I wrote a blog post about my health and fitness. I also did an Instagram story and feed more recently that was centered around the same thing so I thought I would do an update. No, I haven't lost the weight. In fact, I've gained some, but I think it's important to share what I'm going through so others who are going through similar things can feel encouraged to keep striving. Juggling a Day Job, Blog, and Jewelry Business

August 21, 2018

With a 9-5, fashion blog, and newly established jewelry business, I'm often asked how I manage. The truth is...I just make it work. The truth is…I just make it work, even if that means sacrificing my house (it seriously looks like a cyclone went through it), sleep deprivation, and a neglected husband. These things are terrible, I know, but I want to be completely honest. I’m hoping to correct these bad habits over time and at the top of my list right now is to spend more time with my husband. So important!

4 Blogging Tips For New Bloggers

August 7, 2018

One thing that appealed to me about blogging was the fact that bloggers were everyday people who were finding their voice and inspiring others to do the same. I also liked how it was a way to be creative and to work on my writing. One thing that appealed to me about blogging was the fact that bloggers were everyday people who were finding their voice and inspiring others to do the same. I also liked how it was a way to be creative and to work on my writing.I was recently featured in the Style Collective newsletter. Not familiar with SC? It’s literally the go-to for all things blogging and I wish it was around when I first started. It would have saved me a lot of blood, sweat, and tears! With SC, I no longer need to hop around to various sources to get what I need since it’s all in one place. The site and the podcast provide a wealth of knowledge for entrepreneurs and influencers and my favorite features include the blog, blog prep kits, and the e-courses and guides! The community element and forum topics are a huge plus too.

For the feature, I was asked to share a bit about myself and add 3 blogging tips for new bloggers. I thought these tips might be of some value to my audience and I’ve added a bonus tip just for Lace & Pearls readers. Enjoy!
