I don’t know about your city, but the weather is still cold in Seattle! While I wait for warmer temperatures to arrive, I’ve been extending the life of my winter wardrobe by incorporating touches of spring. I often wonder, what should you put away and what is best to keep out?
Holiday Outfit Idea: What to Wear to a Holiday Brunch

Seattle has some of the best brunch spots—think Instagram-worthy aesthetics and delicious bites. Oh, and the people watching! The overall attire is super casual, but when your closest gal pals are fashion bloggers, you know they’re going to look glam!
So what do you wear to a holiday brunch? Whatever you want really, but since my style is on casual side, I almost always wear a pair of jeans. If I’m attending a blog event, I feel most comfortable in denim and find I can dress it up or down, depending on the type of event.

Happy holidays everyone! I hope you’re not having to do any last minute errands like me. I still need to wrap gifts and tidy up the house.
In my search for a faux fur vest, I came across this beautiful cardigan with a faux fur collar. This piece is seriously deluxe. I feel so glamorous! The quality is excellent and the knit provides warmth without adding extra bulk. I can pretty much put any base layer under this sweater and be ready to go.
I am a big fan of Stella & Dot and am loving this monogram pendant and pearl ring. I remember when a pearl ring was hard to find, but now there are lots of options. This one has a modern twist with the pearl on one end and a spike on the other. It’s the perfect balance of tough and girly.
Hope you all have a good holiday! Enjoy your time with friends and family and I’ll see you here next week.

Fur Stole

Faux Fur Stole: Gifted from my sister-in-law (similar) | Sweater: J.Crew | Skirt: J.Crew (old) | Earrings: Anthropologie (sold out) | Bracelet: J.Crew | Ring: Stella & Dot | Booties: Cobb Hill | Lipstick: Wet n Wild (Stoplight Red)
I had the pleasure of attending a blogger brunch this weekend. It was held at Terra Plata and hosted by Jenn from Hello Rigby on behalf of Coors Peak. Coors Peak is a new gluten-free beer. I’m not a big beer drinker, but I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth it was.
The attire for this occasion was silly or dressy. Since I didn’t have time to find an ugly Christmas sweater, I went for dressy. This was the perfect opportunity to re-wear my faux fur stole from my sister-in-law’s wedding. This piece really makes a statement and it’s a good conversation starter. Plus, it’s so much fun.
This skirt with the sequin detail is becoming my go-to for parties. Last year, I wore it to my office Christmas party. I hope I can still get away with wearing it after the holidays. Since the stole and skirt are such statement pieces, I tried to keep everything else simple. Except for the bracelet. I gotta have some bling.
Thanks so much for reading! Be sure to swing back here on Thursday for another holiday look.
