This weekend my condo had a “garage sale,” (sidewalk/outdoor sale) that I participated in. So of course my mom was invited to lend her expertise in staging stuff and manning the tables.  A lot of the items that I sold were from my childhood (American Girls, Madame Alexander dolls, and Muffy Vanderbears). I also sold a lot of clothes, home decor, and accessories.

What I enjoyed most about the weekend was the community element. The people in our building are so personable and fun. It feels like one large family. My mom even hit if off with a bunch of the ladies. There will definitely be more get-togethers soon.

This look was shot by the lovely Michelle Dorman. I feel so fortunate to have connected with her. She captures the best candids and is really great at directing me for shots.

These are the Winnie pants in pink #barbiedoll. That’s what I think whenever I wear them. I’ve had this top for a while. I love the abstract conversation hearts. So girly. These sparkly ballet flats  are the cutest and add a little glam to this look.

Hope you all had an awesome weekend! Thanks so much for reading.

Geometric Print

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again; I love long weekends and short work weeks! It can be challenging to get everything done in a few days, but if you like to play hard you gotta work hard. Am I right?

I was thrilled when the Winnie pant came out in a printed version (I have them in five colors: navy, black, red, pink, and burgundy).  They are fitted through the hips and thigh and are the perfect cropped length. The fabric is super forgiving and comfortable, making them just right for the office or off duty weekends. The geometric print is fun but unexpected, and it easily pairs with a simple top. The juxtaposition of these rhinestone earrings and pearl pendant necklace amped up the chicness of an otherwise simple look.

Happy early weekend everyone . Thanks so much for reading.

It’s been hot in Seattle this week. Anything over 80 feels sweltering with our humidity. We are very happy to have AC at the current place! #blessed

I finally found the perfect fire engine red pants. It’s such a classic staple that looks great with just about anything. I can see these pants with a stripe tee, button up blouse, or even a fun printed top.

I now have these pants in five colors: red, bright pink, burgundy, navy, and black. In this post I wore the navy and mentioned that the red and pink were on my wish list. As you can see, I decided to take the plunge and it was totally worth it. The fabric is so stretchy and forgiving, and it works great for the office. I wear mine at least once a week.

How else would you style these pants? You guys had such great suggestion for this navy and white stripe dress.

Thank so much for reading. Have a lovely weekend!

The Perfect Pixie Pant

Today I am rocking the classic navy pant with nude ballet flats. These pants make me feel like a modern Audrey Hepburn. I love the cropped length and stretchy forgiving fabric. The cut is fitted through the hips and thigh and perfect for my 5’3 frame. They now come in two more colors, red and pink (both on my wishlist).

I have yet to find the perfect striped tee, but I love the chiffon-like fabric on this one. The flowy material is slimming and has a feminine lace trim.

The weather is still on the cooler side in Seattle, but that didn’t stop me from grabbing my flower necklace in anticipation of the warm weather.
